i've yet to read Pride and Prejudice of Zombies....but from what i understand its basically the entire Jane Austen book and he simply added all the zombie stuff.....i guess he really did it remarkably well

as for this according to an interview with him that i read he basically wanted to write a stern biography of Lincoln's life from birth to death and keep it historically accurate but added vampires and vampire hunting to the story.....he did a great job on both ends.....its like an educations romp....with vampires ....seriously a very fun book to read

About to wrap up Clash of Kings. I've ordered Storm of Swords, can't wait to start it.

If you haven't started this already, I would highly advise you take a few pieces of paper and jot down characters and what their relations are with one and other. It's not so much a problem in A Clash of Kings but by the end of A Storm of Swords you're introduced to so many new characters and names of places that are absent from the 4th book but all brought back in the 5th with no re-explanation.

I've nearly finished book 4 and the paperback version of book 5 is available here in the UK in March. Personally I think book 4 is one of the most interesting of all the books, but greatest chapter so far has to be from book 3the one with the Red Viper and Gregor Clegane!

Aaahhh...I almost bought this just this past Sunday! I'm definitely going to give it a whirl now!

Also, I'm in the middle of reading "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" at the moment. The way this book is laid out is such a trip, and I love the writing style. It's surprisingly easy to follow. I'm only half way thru but loving it and very interested in reading the grandparents sides of the story further.

The zap gun-Philp K.Dick. One of his more lightweight and pulpy novels. There doesn't seem to be much too it.

I've just been staring at it on my grandmother's coffee table for days, and finally decided I may as well read it, since it elicits that response from me.
