I read that a few years ago after wanting to check it out for ages (mostly because I was a big Cure fan growing up). Unfortunately, for a classic, it isn't very memorable.

The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
I'm almost done with this one. It's a pretty good story and it's interesting to read 60s science fiction with such a gender-studies bent, but I have to admit I get fairly bored reading about fictional political intrigue in a sci-fi setting. I had the same issue when I read Dune. It gets just a little too involved in that end of things for my tastes. Still, it's a worthwhile book.
