I would also recommend "Persuasion" by Jane Austen. It is a beautiful story.

Just finished:

Very disturbing, morbid, graphic anthropological study on 'death' in many cultures. Fascinating as well. Ranging everything from the modern sacrificial cannibal rituals to Viking rape, and murder rituals to Vampire lore. Very twisted, fantastic book.

about to start on:

A compilation of Stockhausen lectures/interviews.

When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

The Wheel of Time: 13 Gathering Storm. There is no finnish translations, because the author (Robert Jordan) died few years ago and the company stop publishing rest of the serie. Reading (and talking) different languages is good exersice .

And before that i read Ilkka Remes's book ''Pahan Perimä'' (Evils Genotype or somth.), finnish international thriller. Very good, but i guess there's no translations on english, maybe on geramany.
