Not sure if I already posted this, but I saw the nutcracker at Christmas and got inspired to read some pre-WWI stuff. Interesting book overall so far, written in an almost a A People's History of Europe style.

I love her! I've read part of this and it's good. Have you read her book about the space program? It's excellent.

My friend lent me this. It's pretty good. This, too. I didn't think I'd understand it, but it's going good right now. If I were to just dive into the middle of the book I'd be so confused. Mr. Hawking does a good job of introducing us to the basic concepts before hitting us with black holes and uncertainty principles. Also, it's illustrated!
