Not sure if I already posted this, but I saw the nutcracker at Christmas and got inspired to read some pre-WWI stuff. Interesting book overall so far, written in an almost a A People's History of Europe style. |

My friend lent me this. It's pretty good. http://www.jpprufino.com/wp-content/...ef-history.jpg This, too. I didn't think I'd understand it, but it's going good right now. If I were to just dive into the middle of the book I'd be so confused. Mr. Hawking does a good job of introducing us to the basic concepts before hitting us with black holes and uncertainty principles. Also, it's illustrated! |
