I loved Scarlet Letter, I think it was because I read it during a time in my life while I was high on dxm all the time, so they were so intense about everything, and I totally got that, so I loved it.
I however hated Where the Red Fern Grows |

Haha - The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby must be the most assigned reading all over America every year.
Myself, I didn't read them when I was assigned them in high school. But that's just because I didn't do stuff like homework back then. Since then, though, I've read them both and I think they're both excellent (Gatsby far better of course). |

In college I was assigned Henry James's "Turn of the Screw" about 5 times. I've still never finished that piece of trash.
