This is probably the billionth time I'm reading this and it is very short indeed, but it never fails charge up my neurons, jumping all over the place and forming new pathways which I've never thought of! This man is just bloody...is just bloody, well, I don't know.

Finished Annie Proulx's Fine just the way it is....I'm definitely visiting Wyoming one day, but even if I don't I feel like I've been there and know its people. Amazing collection of short stories. Definitely one of the best modern American writers.
