Ha! This was the first Moore I read. Well, there are few of them. It's good if I've seriously nothing else to read. He's a good story teller, and has unique, humorous stories, but it doesn't really do anything else for me.

You should read Pee Gaskin's Autobiography. Well, technically it's a semi-autobiography. Nonetheless, graphic and .. Well, detailed.

You're welcome. Glad you're liking it better this time around. Like I said, it's one of my all time favorite books.

Nausea, American Gods, and Sabriel! Nice

I'm reading Critique of Pure Reason by Emanuel Kant at the moment. I just finished The Fifth Sacred Thing. That was a great book if you're into future dystopia style literature.

Oh, I'm certainly on the same boat. He's funny and the stories are great - and that's about it really. I don't actually 'learn' much per se from his books, nor do I ponder over the texts. Usually, a fast read (with many a laugh) does it - and this one should be over in a couple of days time.

Just started this. A kind of novel slash satirical commentary on pop culture.

Merle Haggard's Autobiography

I got halfway through and had to quit reading it.

I was falling in love with him.

I used to read alot of Robin Cook. Pretty good stuff, but the whole medical themed mystery plot gets old after a while.

Right now I'm reading Father and Son by Larry Brown.

A gritty, real story about a semi-disfunctional out-in-the-country town in Mississippi in the 60's. Larry Brown's a pretty good story teller.
