That book looks awesome. The cover appeals to me, alot.

Normally I don't read more than book at a time, but I realised that that often led to me losing focus on my book after half an hour and browsing the internet. So I'm branching out, and when I get tired of one I switch.

Now that I have a decent library available to me I can finally delve into Murakami. Descriptions of his work always appealed to me, and so far it's been effortlessly fun.

Actually quite readable for something written in 1600, and the farce is hilarious in places. There are slower patches, the guy doesn't mind a tangent.

Not sure how I feel about this one at the moment, interesting enough but not hugely compelling and the humour falls a bit flat at points. Still good enough to keep reading though.

That you should take the back cover into consideration as well?

Something along those lines, yes.

I just like to read books. I'm finally reading Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. Just finished the first one last week and it certainly has promise. I have the next one queued up at the library.

Lullaby surprised me at the end, it got just a little creepy though.

Now I'm reading Identical by Ellen Hopkins. I love her work, only novel of hers I haven't read before.
So excited for Fallout the third book in the Crank series!

My favorite book of Ellen's is Impulse, about 3 teenagers who all end up in the same mental institution for attempted suicide.

Excerpt: Triad
Three
separate highways
intersect at a place
no reasonable person
would ever want to go.

Three
lives that would have
been cut short, if not
for hasty interventions
by loved ones. Or Fate.

Three
people, with nothing
at all in common
except age, proximity,
and a wish to die.

Three
tapestries, tattered
at the edges and come
unwoven to reveal
a single mutual thread.

you should never judge them by their cover, but the whole point in a cover is to depict what the book is about and give the potential reader an insight

I just started reading it today, too! I just started reading Kurt Vonnegut's books and can't seem to put them down... Any of his books are great, so I'd recommend them.
