I saw him read, it was quite awesome. Better than I expected, because it was only unpublished stuff I'd never heard of before. And I ended up getting his autograph:)

I'm reading a book about Siegfried and Roy, it's called Tiger's Revenge by Claude Balls.

I just can't help it, you know?

Actually if you go to a reading and are willing to stand in line for a really long time afterward or get there really early, he'll probably be signing.

I'm weary of this one, haven't started reading it yet but it's next on the list for the book club I'm in. Anyone read it before? I'm not sure it's going to be my cup of tea.

Continuing with some Chuck Palahniuk, I recently finished Diary (3/5) and am now 100 pages into Invisible Monsters which is much more enjoyable so far.

Philosophy in the Flesh : The Embodied Mind and Its Challenge to Western Thought
http://www.amazon.com/Philosophy-Fle.../dp/0465056741

the most profound book i've ever read. and i read a lot.
i've read it before. lots of times. even used it as a primary reference in my doctoral thesis. but it's so damn good that i like to read it repeatedly.

One of the funniest quirkiest books I've ever laid my eyes on. It's a great fun fest if you read in English and you are pretty familiar with the French language, and France in all.
