I'm still trying to get through A Separate Peace. It's winter break and I don't want to read. Plus I accidentally saw a spoiler to the end. I hate you Wikipedia.

I hear there are big discrepancies between the book and the movie and that Stephen King was not entirely happy with the movie version of it (even going so far as to make a made-for-tv movie of it, which I heard sucked). Should be interesting to see what he was talking about. |

The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams (may he R.I.P).
He's my favorite author. OK, was. I can't believe there aren't any more books of his I can read. This is the 2nd time i've read this book (read the rest about 3 times already). I'm pretty much a book warm, reading a lot, but still can't find any author that can match up. I mean, authors like Joseph finder etc are good and all, but they don't make me laugh, or think, or care, like Douglas did. Does anyone have a good recommendation for an author from the same niche?... I'm hopeless |

I'm probably only going to read this once through, but I had a gift card for a bookstore and decided to give it a try. A part of me is concerned that there's going to be an abundance of negative geek archetypes, especially when it comes to the Pen and Paper RPG games, but we'll see. |
