Haha, it's an odd one but hopefully you'll like it. I enjoyed the main story in it but the bookends weren't too great.

What were your thoughts on the third? I have mixed feelings, good overall though.

Read most of How to Make Love Like a Porn Star by Jenna Jameson, which was compellingly trashy, but couldn't be bothered finishing it. It's the sort of book which leaves a bad taste in your mouth even if you enjoy it.

In the last few hours I got through The Restraint of Beasts, which is a sort of working class black comedy, great read, was actually shortlisted for The Booker. Hilariously deadpan in the way the scenario grows more and more absurd without the understated tone ever wavering. I didn't like the clipped ending though.

Having a super lazy day so I'm about to start on Les Miserables.

Great book, has one of the best lines ever in it.

Of all the words of mice and men, the saddest are 'It might have been.'

Vonnegut in general will throw some lines at you that are just amazing.

Right now I'm working on Ulysses and V.
I wont finish either very soon.

An absolutely amazing book, Savannah.

Currently, and I'm a little ashamed to say this, I've taken a liking to the Southern Vampire Mysteries series that the TV show Trueblood is based off of. Much better than the disgusting Twilight series (that and the bitch stephanie whatever her name is ripping Harris off on almost all her ideas).
