I've got the first book on audio. I've not luistened to it for a while. I'm only about a quarter of the way in. The narrator is one of the worst I've heard, coupled witht he fact that Goodkinds writing is iritating it really makes for a har time. Add that to the fact that just before it I had read the Dark tower series which is written infinitely better.

How do you find audiobooks in general?
I've never used one and I'm not sure if I would like them or not, it seems to me like the level of immersion might suffer if I was forced to progress at a set pace. |

I like audiobooks, if the narrator is half decent, as I like to listen whilst in bed or when driving or walking etc.

A Purple Place for Dying - John D. Macdonald
Third in the series, so far they're the best damn novels I have ever read. Hard-Boiled Wonderland at the End of the World - Haruki Murakami Read "Kafka on the Shore" and I've heard this book is da' bomb so yeah.
