I no longer read fiction, I prefer history nowadays, but if I was to re-read a Sci-Fi book from my youth Lord of Light by Zelzany would be the one.



I have got into 2 books that came over Xmas.

Rubicon by Tom Holland. A book on the Roman republic.

Rome Or Death: The Obsessions of General Garibaldi by Daniel Pick. The Story of Garibaldi's obsession with diverting the Tiber.

I have also picked up a book in a 2nd hand sale called View Of Sussex by Ben Darby. A bit battered but the pics alone make me want to go back and visit that fair county.
