Heh, I think you just have to surrender yourself to the charm of the tale that's being spun. Plus, most of the chapter with Strange in the war are pretty engaging.

recently finished Religion and Nothingness by Nishitani, which was amazing and I think ethan would probably enjoy... read fight club yesterday, the movie was extremely faithful so not a lot of surprises but still a good read, and today i started on tropic of capricorn by henry miller. i'm also reading a short story collection from bukowski and inching my way through some beckett.
