I've played through Red/Blue countless times, Yellow maybe twice, and then each of the following once
-Ruby -Emerald -Firered -Heartgold -Pearl I was thinking about B/W ... but... it's really the same thing year after year. The nostalgia is nice, but I get that from picking up the older games too. |

I've been playing a lot of SoulSilver recently (And Ruby and Diamond. But only to transfer them to my SS game). Wish I got Heartgold though. I kinda want a growlithe.
Lost my Emerald game when I was in 6th grade on a camping trip. I was pissed for months. I had all the legendaries from mixing records with a couple friends, besides jirachi I think. I dunno about B/W. Not really digging the new designs. But a lot of people have been telling me it's surprisingly good, so I dunno. |

Much like everyone else, I collected the cards when I was younger (along with Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, and others). Played a few times but never really learned the rules/not many people played. Yu-Gi-Oh was always the better game plus the franchise was a bit more based around cards so it seemed cooler.
Over the past year or so I've started playing the games again. Played a blue emulator and and my brother's old copy of silver. I had blue when I was younger (with a blue GB pocket which just made a hot combo) and gold then never played anything past that. I thought the new games looked kind of fun so I bought a used DS lite pretty cheap earlier this month which came with leafgreen and pearl, haven't played the pearl though yet. Ended up buying white version, partially because you can get Butterfree on it and Butterfree is bad-ass. Quite a lot of these new Pokemon are abysmal, but there's descent ones. |

I played up until Ruby/Sapphire. Then I stopped. I have to say that the old Silver/Gold versions were the best ones made. They were REALLY long and in depth for a game boy game at that time.
Now... I just hate video games in general. Kind of makes me sad. |
