I've had a big blow out on movies this weekend, and all of them have been silly popcorn movies. Firstly I watched American Pie: Band Camp. Nowhere near as good as the other American Pie's, but it's alright. The only thing I don't like about it is the way they try to sell Stiffler's brother, trying to make up for the fact they never got Sean William Scott.
then I went to the cinema with my mate and watched The Ringer, the film where Johnny Knoxville pretends to be a retard to fix the special olympics. What a great film. If you want a good laugh, then go see this. It's great. Then last night I watched the last half of AVP. It's a good action flick, and The Predator has to be the coolest alien EVER. |

Was that the really slow & boring one with Julia Roberts with all the womens rights and crap? In the art college? Yeah, that was well boring. Stereotypes and clichés galore, apart from Kirsten Dunst, she played it well.. Eh. Im too critical with films. On another note, I saw Saw 2 last night. Thanks to all the gory parts of that film [and daylight savings] I managed to get 2 hours sleep last night! Score.. Yeah, I liked it, but I prefer the first. I think that needle part really really really put me off... I was pretty much squealing all through that part. Nasty

No way! The Alien is the best! It has perfectly evolved! You should read the Alien v Predator novels - they are ridiculously entertaining. They also have a comic series with Batman... so, so, so good.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Predator. But if you put the Alien and the Predator in an environment armed with only what they were born with. The Alien wins hannnds dowwwn... doesn't need any of that electronic crap! They are the ultimate survivors - a c0ckroach mixed with a scorpion mixed with a trap door spider... UNF. I love the Alien. |
