Default Movie You Attended Where The Most People Walked Out Before It Ended

With me, it was Eraserhead. But that's probably to be expected with a movie like that.

Funny that you mentioned that movie. I also saw it in a theater the first time I saw it but I don't recall if any people walked out on it.

But the two movies I saw in a theater and do remember people walking out on were 'Blue Velvet' and 'Wild at Heart' both of which also happen to be by David Lynch.

Guy Maddin's Keyhole at the Cinémathèque québécoise in Montreal. I also found it very hard to follow despite being a big Maddin fan so couldn't blame them.

Yeah, Lynch has that effect on a lot of people I saw Blue Velvet and Wild At Heart at theaters as well. I took a hiatus from Lynch after the latter of the two--it was getting too much like "freaky for the sake of being freaky." The next thing Lynch did that I saw was The Straight Story. I didn't think he could pull off a good G rated movie. But he did.
