It was sloggish for about an hour or two, I think (at least from here). It fortunately seems like a relatively brief and rare occurrence.

Haha, I keep seeing posts on here that I instinctively want to hit the like button on.

I really like that feature, by the way. It's great for when you don't have much to add conversationally but still want to give someone some positive energy.

Thought I'd give this a bump with the quick update that we've made a forum for controversial topics with the current intention that it'll also be someplace less moderated.

We call it The Abyss and the forum's invisible until you opt-in.

Controversy you say? Alright, alright, I'm sold.

The only caveat is that any member (of SCD) who chooses NOT to opt-in is automatically off-limits for discussion there. In other words, if Frown were over there and didn't want to opt-in, then nobody could talk about him there, at least in a significant way. Outside of the Abyss, that's cool, but if you're not a member of the club, so to speak, it would be unfair for those who are, to discuss you, when you're not there to defend yourself (since the sub forum bends light around itself by refracting tachyons - they're ions that dress provocatively and have no sense of style - or, as you Earth people say, is invisible).

It was requested. If you mean the caveat. Some people knew they might have been talked about, were not interested in being in the Abyss, but didn't want to think they might be getting dis(s)cussed out of their view. Seems fair to me.

It's been months and activity here seems slower than ever, so thought I'd give this a bump as a reach out to those who are still here, but feel a little lonely.
