Anybody play any PS2 games online? like madden, socom 2, stuff like that. I just got it and figured it might be pretty cool. But i was just wonderin if anybody else played.....so join along :afro:

I've never played PS2 online, but I once played Xbox Live. The only system I own is GameCube, though. I use to own Xbox, but I sold it.

yeah...basically the only thing that keeps me from buyin a x-box is gran turismo 4...which by the way is gonna kick major ass

I played X box live too, it is cool, and true crime for x box looks cool but I will always keep ps2

gt4 is gonna be online just so all you x-box/gamecube owners know....muahahaha

I've got a PS2 but no manual...how would you hook up the live action?

you mean make it go online? you have to buy a network adaptor (go to wal-mart or best buy, its like 30$)

Only PS2 and Xbox can be played online. I know there's a hack that you can do to be able to play GameCube online, but only works for a few games like Mario Kart.

I got the Network adapter last X-mas, but i didnt like it with dial up network, but i have had cable for about 5 months now and i think ill try it out again.

I play tony hawk 3 online sometimes, feels good to pretend im real good at skateboarding in front of other people

Yeah...me and this guy andrew play all the time online. It's really sweet to play with people you know.

I'm thinking of buying a game console in January, but I can't decide what to choose : PS2 or Xbox. Is there a difference in the quality of the games ?

I think the graphics are similar, but I think that better games come out for PS2. You are gonna want to have a PS2 when Gran Turismo 4 comes out, cuz that's gonna be the best game ever.

Choose by the games. I had an Xbox, but I sold it for a GameCube. I prefer the games for GameCube over Xbox, because I mainly play with my friends and GC has better social games. So pick by what games you want to play and not like the quality of the graphics or the hardware.
