Default Deepfakes

Are very disturbing. This one is one of the best I've seen.

And the technology is only getting better. :/

I assume that somewhat soon, we might get a new James Dean movie. Some actor's jobs may become more just being a canvas for an AI to put someone else's famous face over.

Could be fun if we get to see his wedding tackle.

I personally like the technology for the memes. There's this guy on Youtube doing a hilarious series using deepfake technology about Joe Biden waking up in Skyrim and trying to find his way out (superimposing Joe's face on an actor, using an AI voice generator created on a knowledge base composed of Joe Biden's voice recordings). It's very obviously not an example of using deepfakes to make something convincing, but rather make something funny.

There's a really good movie called The Congress by Ari Folman about this very thing. Watch it!
