Does his room have curtains? If he has un-picked part of the hem, that could make a small hiding place - but for cannabis, not weed I suppose, because of bulk.

Some bookshelves/bureaus have small gaps between their bottoms and the floor

Could hide them inside the bed or mattress liner

Could hide them inside the pillow case

Some pillows have zippers that allow you to take the stuffing out or put more in, could hide them in there

Some dressing bureaus have little 'u' shaped rails which the shelves slide on - probably feasible to hide them there too

It’s narcing for a good reason, this kid is going to get himself into a higher security placement if we can’t get it under control.

I mean, you're not wrong, but a kid shouldn't be smoking weed.

If the kid was smarter or more experienced, he'd have known that he should at least procure a dryer sheet and a toilet paper roll and be a little more subtle about it.

Lol if all else fails get him a vape pen. Not fool proof but probably more stealth than smoking a joint.
