Bumping because I need advice, particularly from those that can think like an addict.
One of my clients is a kid that likes weed. That’s whatever to me, but we run a sober milieu and there can be absolutely no consumption in the house, as it is detrimental to other kids trying to remain sober. Anyway this kid has a steady supply which is not a surprise, but the past couple weeks he’s been blatantly smoking in his room at night. I am not the type to barge into his room and try to catch him in the act, that’s not how we operate. However, when he’s at school we do search the **** out of his room and in the year he’s been here we have never been able to find a single roach, nug, lighter, piece, nothing. We know he doesn’t keep it on his person, because his person is physically searched while entering and leaving school. So, I’ve searched everywhere I could think of pulling from all the media I’ve consumed, I’ve picked the brain of my former addict stepdad, I’ve asked a ton of people where I should be looking and so far no one’s given me any ideas I hadn’t already thought of. I searched beneath the soles of his sneakers today, ffs, what am I missing?! |
