The Mobile/Cell Phone Thread
Hell, if we can have a thread for keys we can have one for humanity's greatest asset and friend! Post here about your mobile (or, if you prefer, cell) phone - what have you got, what is your favourite app on it, what's its memory, what makes/networks do you prefer, what phones have you had before, how has the mobile/cell phone changed over your lifetime, do you remember a time before them etc etc.
Basically, just nerd out about your phone. Post pictures if you want. The old saying was never so true as in the 21st century: you're never alone with a phone. |
Sounds like someone is bored
|
Yeah, I'm far from bored. I have multiple projects on and at the moment am working on entries for the return of The History of Prog Rock next year. Just trying to keep this place interesting. A thankless task, most would say. They'd be right.

Bro you got hobbies not projects.
|
Just because you live in the Projects...

Project (n.) "planned scheme to do or examine something over a period."

How about some questions in a familiar format...
The Cell Phone 5-Pack: What brand/model is your phone? Galaxy A20. Why did you purchase the phone you have? It was cheap. Pro's? None Cons? The camera sucks. Thoughts or other comments on it: It has a micro slot so I could reuse my 250GB micro card and not have to worry about storage issues, but that has nothing to do with the actual phone quality other than it has a slot. I've also dropped it a few times so the screens shattered at the bottom. It also has a nice long crack up the side. Not trading it in until it's absolutely ****ing dead. |

Galaxy S10. Why did you purchase the phone you have? Got it as an upgrade, and wangled it for free when it should have been about 120 Euro. Also I've used Samsung Galaxies for a few years now. I was actually looking for another one but they were out of stock so they did this deal with me rather than have me go to another network. Pro's? Reliable, basically the same as my previous one (S9) but has 120 GB inbuilt memory which means no need for cards. Cons? None that I've noticed so far. Thoughts or other comments on it: I see no need at the moment to move from Samsung. They seem to know what they're doing and their phones have not given me any issues over the years. As a special bonus, you can actually make calls on this one! |
