I'd invite you to Ottawa, but we're not any better. We're officially known as the city that fun forgot. We also have a train so horrible, that saying the word train is an insult to the word. I'm seeing the Tea Party next week at Bluesfest, so I guess it's not all bad.

If I can make a suggestion for the medical stuff, you could try going to Cornwall. It's just down the 401 from you. Your level of service should be as good. You could drive there in just over 45 minutes on a good day.
