Your hopes and dreams?

We all had hopes and dreams when we were younger - we were going to be this, do that, invent the other - most of which, I would imagine in most cases, did not come true.

I of course believed I would be a successful writer by now, earning a living by the power of my creativity. BUZZ! Didn't happen.

Thought I'd own either a car or a motorbike. BUZZZ! Didn't happen.

Expected to have my own place. Sort of technically do, but not really as it's still the parents' house and I'm here with Karen.

I also thought at some point I would emigrate, and intended to retire to the Cotswolds. BUZZZ! Didn't happen.

So how about you?
