Oh well, I thought it was something worse or similar to the now famous "r" gif of the suggestions thread

Ah I gotcha. Never cared for Mega Man. I did play X many years ago .

The Batlord 03-18-2021 01:29 PM

Yeah he's from the X series. And go **** yourself.

Now I remember why I don't like Mega Man fans. So mean and cold-hearted.

By the way, been meaning to tell you, not sure if you read it or not in one of my other posts, but I tried those hash browns from BK the other day and damn man, those things are the absolute bomb.Like full stop, the best fast food hash brown I've ever had.

The Batlord 03-18-2021 03:27 PM

Their quality varies wildly but I'll still take McDonald's hashbrowns any day of the week. The rest of their breakfast is ****ing trash though.

That could be true. I only had them once. But I prefer the bite-sized hash browns of BK as opposed to the larger hash brown of MCD's, which, depending how soggy it is, might fall apart as you eat it. Both hash browns are better than Dunkin's though.

The D's hashbrowns never fall apart on me. You must have just lost the fast food lottery or gone to a **** store. And I like the one giant hashbrown cause no matter whose hashbrowns you get they dry out quick as **** but the Chadbrown stays soft and moist for way longer. Like your mother.

Marie Monday 03-18-2021 04:02 PM

Get that fast food talk out of this thread unless you're going to write a math problem about Charles eating hash browns

SGR 03-18-2021 04:24 PM

You like your hash browns soft and moist? What are you, a communist?

Hash browns should be dry, crispy, and dipped in ketchup.

I'm gonna make a Hash Brown thread.

nah bro chicken biscuit any day

Tho here in NC they have this place called bojangles which has way better cajun chicken biscuits... mcdonald's chicken biscuit is still decent. One of the few decent things on their menu.

Haven't had their chicken biscuit cause if I'm not going for cheap **** I go for Hardee's who have vastly better biscuits than anyone else and their chicken is massive and delicious. Also shout out to their smoked sausage and pork chop and gravy biscuits. Their hashbrowns are unfortunately not up to the same standard.

Bojangles is good but not really truly great. I'll Stan them for no other reason than there was a Bojangles across from a buddy's house I'd get wasted at multiple times a week and that was the hangover spot the next morning.

SGR 03-18-2021 05:47 PM

Do they even have Bojangles up here in New England? I've never seen it. I'm lucky when I see a Chic-Fil-A.

Yes. My nipples are constantly hard.

More on topic, anyone remember who solved Fermat's Last Theorem? I don't feel like Yahoo'ing it.

i dont remember how much it is but i think the chicken biscuit at mcdonalds is pretty cheap. and yea bojangles isn't the best fried chicken but it's pretty good. but i love their breakfast cajun biscuit. Honestly haven't had hardest breakfast menu. In terms of chicken places i prefer popeyes but they dont have that around here.

In Greensboro everyone said there is this chain called Church's chicken or something like that which is supposed to be great.

If Batty eats one portion of hashbrowns, three helpings of fries, two burgers and two Diet Cokes, per day, how long until he has a heart attack? You can have a year either way.

But McDonald's biscuits aren't worth paying for. Try Hardee's. They're the ****ing bomb for breakfast. Handmade biscuits and ****.

jwb 03-19-2021 11:37 AM

I will do. There's one near by. I've been there for lunch and to me it reminded me of Checkers.. which is another chain they had in Florida they don't have here. But basically the kind of food that is designed to give you a heart attack but it's good af.

Their breakfast is better than their lunch tbh.

leave it to schools to make maths seem prosaic

It's not just me being weird when I call maths a creative art: there has been a scientific study which confirms that mathematicians respond to elegant maths in the same way that people respond to other arts.

Plankton 05-27-2021 12:59 PM

lol 0k smartypants, and I completely agree. I hated math in school and barely passed refresher math to graduate HS, but after throwing myself into programming back in the early 90's, I found the beauty of it all in elegantly perfected boolean operations.

Just 'figured' the 'toon was funny and fitting for the thread.

Marie Monday 05-27-2021 02:10 PM

that's cool, I've been Pavlov'd by experience to go into math defense mode quickly. I like the cartoon though, gotta love Calvin and Hobbes

By pretending it's more artistic than it really is to bolster their weak self image?

Plankton 05-27-2021 03:07 PM

Hey, you gotta bolster where you can these days.

Marie Monday 05-28-2021 04:36 AM

Seriously though Charles, if you think I'm exaggerating in order to hipsterise maths you're misreading things. It's just estranging to really enjoy the beauty and creativity of something, while so many people are not only dismissive but actually hostile towards it because of the stigma around maths and bad teaching. Kind of makes you want to go MATHS CAN BE FUN AND PRETTY I SWEAR
