My favourite was when Robert Downey Jr. was cancelled for doing blackface in Tropic Thunder after two satire accounts and a 15 year old posted about it. Thousands of people swarmed to his defense against this cancellation to no avail, because the official voice of the internet had damned RDJ with those three posts and we were forced to kill him.

Or when J.K. Rowling had her terf outburst and published Troubled Blood a couple of months after. Then it came out that Troubled Blood was transphobic too because it depicts transvestites as serial killers. After the internet decided that Rowling was cancelled, thousands rushed to her defense buying 65,000 copies in the first week (compare to the 120,000 copies of her 2018 book sold over the course of two years). Unfortunately, this wasn't enough and we were forced to kill her.
