I was just trying to say that my intention was to talk about the subject, not necessarily my personal situation. I only shared what I did to illustrate why it was on my mind and the terms in which I had been thinking about the topic of exes and new relationships. I am not faulting anyone for commenting on what I posted, I'm not faulting anyone for anything. I was just trying to be clear in my intent but clearly I did not succeed.

That sounds like the bull**** bourgeois success story mentality to me. As long as someone has an interesting colourful personality and is attractive I wouldn't care much if they had an uninteresting job or lived with their parents (if they have a decent reason for it). Just be a cool person.
