It's an advantage that we can learn behavior and pass on information verbally That doesn't mean we ceased to have instincts or became less reliant on them Rather our instincts expanded to include the ability to learn things via social interaction and observation. All of this serves the same basic function that any instinct serves. Which is just guidelines to live by. |

You're just wrong in assuming that one overrides the other completely You didn't even know what sexual selection was at the start of this convo so don't even bother trying to act like you're on sone different level of understanding. Both me and OH understand this question better than you do. |
