Just saying women prefer taller dudes cased closed is straight out of my own playbook- you making it about rape and hunter gatherers is a gross simplistic explanation.

There might be a genetic advantage to something else that causes women to be shorter as a side effect. There might might might be an endless ****loads of mights. Having a theory that sounds reasonable doesn’t constitute proof.

Regarding consent ... do ladybugs consent? When I’m saying consent may be irrelevant I’m talking way back before hunter gatherers. Before homosapiens. Maybe before there were trees to chimp out in. We don’t know.

I said women are the selective partner in human sexuality and so the fact that men are taller than women is most plausibly explained by sexual selection. You've yet to give a coherent counter point other than maybe tall rapists are more proficient than short rapists.

Since it seems like such a stretch for you with the height thing... Do you use the same logic with regard to birds? You doubt the females are selecting mates with colorful patterns?

I think you misconstrued my reach advantage fist comment. I mean knocking out the other male competition. The consent portion was talking about pre-human **** which I tried to clarify.

No the bird thing is a lock. But how and why and when that came to be is a different discussion. Still though, it happens, there’s an evolutionary cause, and it perpetuates a distinction so point taken.

It’s not incumbent on me to offer a counter as to why men are taller because I’m saying we don’t know.

Even if we establish beyond a shadow of a doubt that modern women like dudes over 6”2 better than dudes under 5”7 that’s just a clue. Most sociobiological answers to questions have a wonderful advantage of being intuitive but just having a theory or a hypothesis is only the very first stage of the scientific process. And when it comes to genetics and the history of the genome it’s complicated af. Ideas that seem like they carry weight because it’s just common sense often don’t pan out under scientific scrutiny.

That’s all I got on this one.

I agree she’s honest. I agree his privacy should be respected. I’m not jumping to any conclusions about the egregiousness of what actually occurred though.
