No, I'm pretty sure hunter gatherers understood rape. Not necessarily that word for it but they would recognize It's pretty straight forward. I think you underestimate their intelligence.

They existed in familial units. Women weren't just on their own. They had brothers and fathers and uncles etc to protect them.

It's not even speculation. Tribes still exist on this planet to this day.

Just saying women prefer taller dudes cased closed is straight out of my own playbook- you making it about rape and hunter gatherers is a gross simplistic explanation.

There might be a genetic advantage to something else that causes women to be shorter as a side effect. There might might might be an endless ****loads of mights. Having a theory that sounds reasonable doesn’t constitute proof.
