My previous one cost below 300.
My current one cost around 350 I think, but I don't remember exactly. It's over four years old.
Still works great for the purposes that OH needs.
I assume newer laptops are more powerful and fast for even less money.

You'd think so, but they're just as expensive.

P.s. bought my current laptop at $350 about seven years ago and it's always been total garbage.

Sucks, if true.
Point still stands.
Girlfriend uses my old one which I bought for 250 (I think) 8-9 years ago or so.
And even that one is sufficient for streaming and downloading.

My computer is pretty good with streaming and downloading too. Running programs that stream and download though? Well that's simply asking a lot you have to give my computer time.

Not necessarily. Like if I type Apple it automatically capitalizes, predictive text suggests things like Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
