The only argument you've offered is that Alex Jones is based actually.

All jwb likes to do is listen to boom bap, watch The Sopranos, and buy White Owls.

I'm not saying i wouldn't go as me, a random nobody on the internet just looking for a cool story

But if i was one of the rich people who actually participate, not just some one off guest, i don't think that would be my choice of hobby/social gathering

If the picture i posted looks like something you want in your life then i would suggest you compromise and just go to Catholic church. Or maybe in your case an eastern orthodox church.

And the reason i said relaxing is cause the wiki thing wwwp quoted said the real meaning behind the ritual is letting go of your worries etc... Which is like... Go to a ****in spa or something. I honestly think of they're not on some eyes wide shut **** they must want people to think they are when they do **** like this.

First:
Racism much? Eastern christians don't act that much differently from the western ones.

Second:
I don't think that the Catholic Church has rituals in which you go into the middle of the wood, dress like druids and elves and burn stuff. In the Middle Ages? Maybe. Now? Um...nope

Third:
This ritual here is just like a simple spirit cleansing thing, with this weird aesthetic but around it.
All catholicism has to offer is being in fear of an entity which we can never. hope to understand. Their mainstream cleansing rituals are nothing more than "accepting there are greater things than you", if there is any idea still left in them. The Catholic Church isn't really an institution known for having original concepts and being true to their word.

That's what rituals (n their idea) are for.
Because they are such weird circumstances around you, people going in trance, someone chanting, etc, you can metaphorically let go of your worries.

You can relax when you go to a spa. You can't make ourself have another outlook on life because you went to spa.
It works the other way around with rituals.

Like, for a more modern comparison, look more in the direction of organised Acid/Mushroom/Ayahuasca/DMT trips – with a guide, specific soundings, specific music, etc.

That's the kind of experience that can alter our perception of reality for a longer period of time. Going to spa can't.

I'm not really defending these people. I have no clue about what were you Gus talking about, I've never heard of the Bohemian Grove before, etc.
But when reading through this thread and the stufff you guys linked I've come to the conlcusion that these people can't be doing anything immanently evil.
It's just rich people wanting to experience the Orphic rituals from the days of old.
