Please, please, please, watch the Frontline PBS video. It's a really good look into this. Chinese disease experts and doctors knew as early as December 26th when they got a short DNA sequence from a sample. Li Wenliang told his fellow medical school graduates that this was a danger to come on December 30th. He got V& for that btw (and actually died from COVID).
