yeah I've read somewhere that refusing the vaccine is a bad idea, even if you think others need it more. That makes sense to me; there are experts planning who gets the vaccine first, why would people intervene with that?

Well, because as I said, we're now getting a lot less than we should be, at least in Europe, so it surely follows that there'll be less to go around? It won't matter to me; as someone in the very lowest of categories - unless the fact that I care for my disabled sister becomes a deciding factor - I don't expect to get any more than the very last dregs, and I'm okay with that as long as she's immunised.

Are you guys requiring people to self-isolate if they travel there? Our govt just decreed anyone coming into the country has to self-isolate in a hotel for 10 days, at their own expense. I imagine that will put the kibosh on some travel plans, and no bad thing either.
