Anytime somebody brings up other death stats to compare with Covid, I roll my eyes. As if something COMPLETELY UNRELATED somehow affects appropriate safety measures being put in place.

Absolutely. I've been an "essential" worker at a fast food joint ever since the epidemic hit, I've been worked to the bone for much of it since people on lockdown or just worried about going into a store flood fast food joints, and I haven't gotten a cent of hazard or bonus pay and the idea that we're operating safely is a joke.

people bring up thoes other death stats because it justifies in there mind and makes them feel better about the actions there taking. Life is a risk and there willing to risk there lives to enjoy life .

they will do the things they enjoy go to the mall go to the bars to drink go to the beach go fishing a walk in the park or to the gym to work out etc etc

some peoples end game is if they can make it to age 81 with limited pain and good health and then die then well they had a good run LOL

People bring up death stats cause they think they won't end up on that death stat. This is a death stat you might actually end up being on or at least someone you care about.
