Those two news articles make depressing reading, Psy-Fi. I can confirm what the first one says about Mexico: so many people with no job security, living day-to-day with what they earn, often by street trading. It makes lockdown either impossible or economically catastrophic. The quantity and quality of free healthcare are both extremely low, and with kids home from school, child care has become more complicated too.
