So what’s happening. They’ve closed a bunch yuppie eats and drinks that I couldn’t afford anyway. Airlines are ****ed. Good. People aren’t buying gas. Great. What’s the answer they’re throwing at us? Tons of socialism. If I survive this I’m thinking so far **** yes. Economically? **** the economy. Over 50 years old and cutting hundreds of pounds of fish everyday. The economy was already dead in the gulag bitches. Coronavirus the great equalizer?

Get everyone comfortable quarantined in their homes - give the population vouchers for food and water (I know we're not there yet but with cutting everyone checks I don't think it's too much of a stretch that we might see this in the near future) - make population completely dependent on government, continue fearmongering, keep everyone inside - place national guard and police in every neighborhood under the guise of security - abracadabra we are in a police state.

It's mainly to keep people from defaulting on payments which would domino effect into some serious recession fall-out, which will happen regardless. It's just damage control.
