Not quite, I spent 5 days in hospital after I passed out at home. My wife tested positive while I was in hospital otherwise I was going to hotel quarantine. I came home two days before my wife was hositalised. I’m only thankful my daughter got it relatively mild and my son never got any symptoms despite testing positive.

Stephen really sad but hoping she picks up.My experiences may give you some in sight and good hopes.. I had a few years back got put in and induced coma and it really does save your life. Had the tube in throat to breathe and Stomach to feed me a few other slight necessary addon's.
...You can' t talk when you come around, which honestly I was not told and was in drug induced horror world for a few days..side affects of what they may or may not give you.... It took me time to get things together but the Hospital help with your whole well being....I am living a good life since,,just find my emotions are a tad touchy. Your get through this Stephen...Just expect a few ups and downs.. Thinking of anybody that is suffering right now. |

I've had family members get covid as well. A couple had to go to the ER and at least one, my cousin, got the Regeneron cocktail. He recovered quickly, and nobody was actually hospitalized. Anyway, hope the best for your wife, Stephen. The good news is they are a lot better with handling Covid than they were in the beginning so there is always hope.

Just try to keep strong, for both of you. There's really nothing you can do but be there for her, and I'm sure she's in the best hands possible. Oh, and if you see any anti-vaxxers, punch them out. Seriously, take care and keep us updated as and when you can. And make sure to eat; she'll need you when she recovers and comes home.

The hospital arranged permission for me and the kids to visit and say our goodbyes. They detected a new infection in cultures and her lungs are already so damaged if there is any further decline there will be nothing they can do. There is still hope but she is critically ill and doctors are not optimistic.
