I'm glad New Jersey is saying pretty much "hey, we're almost there. Let's just get those vaccination numbers up a little more before we move to normality". It makes sense. Why fu*ck in up during the homestretch?

Cause some of us ain't in the home stretch
People already don't really follow the social distancing guidelines around here. Haven't for a long time. It's very loosely enforced everywhere you go... From stores and restaurants to the workplace. The only way we're ever getting to the home stretch is through vaccination and herd immunity and half the slack jawed retards around here don't even trust the vaccine. So **** it at this point. Let nature take its course. People will get what's coming to them. Nature has no mercy for stupidity. At least my mom is vaccinated and so is my sister and her family. My aunt in Jersey just died from Corona though. |

I didn't get to spend that much time with her but we had a special bond/relationship through the death of my dad. Then she died on the 10 year anniversary of his death.
It's strange cause her death didn't affect me emotionally as much as it probably should because I didn't see her that much so like I'm sad she's dead but it's over weighed by the way out affected other people around me. I feel worse for them. Like she had 3 sons. And it was was the day before mother's day. And it was also the 10 year anniversary of my dad's death so my sister was in Florida visiting with my other aunt and commemorating my dad's death and they were at a restaurant when my aunt got a call from her daughter anr she was all cheerful like hey do you wanna face time with us? And the daughter was like not now just call me when you're done eating. Cause she was calling to tell her that her sister was dead. She didn't even know she was in the hospital. I can't imagine. |

My condolences, jwb.
I'll admit I've been avoiding some of the news coming out of India. It's just too harsh. I caught some of the earlier reports and how there are now lots of children whose parents have died to covid. Children are being adopted away through social media platforms and whatnot and officials worry that many may get caught by human traffickers or pedophiles.. Then the corpses littering every public space it sounds like.. **** that ****. My heart goes out to them. We have it so easy here (Norway) and should be thankful for that.

So the lab leak origin theory is now getting mainstream attention again.
Somewhat strange that a year ago, you could be censored on social media for humoring the idea and much of the media at large would label you a conspiracy theorist or a peddler of misinformation for supporting the idea. |
