Everyone could be vaccinated and they'd still making you jump through the same hoops though. Hell, Governor Abbott got the vaccine and boosters that aren't available to the public and he's still getting his ass quarantined as a breakthrough case.

You're bitching about a COVID test for a heart transplant? If you're gonna be laid up in a hospital for God knows how long I imagine they want to know if you're diseased.

It's for a test to see if I would be a candidate for a heart transplant. I likely won't do it anyway because with the anti-rejection medicine I'd have to take, my immune system (which is very good right now) would go to pot.

Anyway, I'll limit my hospital visits until the hysteria dies down a little. I don't go out very much anyway.

Yeah I gotta say, of all the measures out there that don't make a whole lotta sense, taking a covid test before being interred is not one of them. I did it myself. Although they didn't ask it just to see a doctor though, only if you are actually going to spend time in the hospital.

Also, sorry to hear about your heart troubles! It's curious that you say you probably won't take a transplant, normally people who take it don't have a choice? Good luck either way.

Look at it this way, Norg, you may have just saved your life.

As for the heart transplant, Adidass, generally it's true a heart transplant is a last resort, but in my case I don't necessarily have a death sentence with the heart I have now; I just can't function normally (I can only walk about a block without wanting to pass out for example). Even so, there are people who desperately need a heart transplant before I do.

So, I'm going to take my time and wait and see if they can get this Covid crisis under control. I don't really think the Delta variant is the end of it, I'm afraid.
