Actor Kirk Cameron is facing criticism for organizing at least two events in Southern California in recent weeks, where dozens of mask-less people stood shoulder-to-shoulder to sing Christmas carols in protest of state and local stay-at-home mandates.

"I'm getting ready to go out in 38 minutes, it's T-38 minutes for our Christmas caroling peaceful protest," Cameron said in an Instagram post in advance of an event held in the parking lot of The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, California. "We are going to be celebrating our God-given liberties, our constitutionally protected rights at this time at Christmas to sing Christmas songs to gather, to assemble, and to sing about the birth of our savior."
It’s too bad he’s wrong and there isn’t a god to punish him by sending him to burn for eternity in hell but maybe someone will do the lord’s work here on earth.

I think politicians who have spent the entirety of the pandemic trying to bring relief awareness to the severity of the situation are allowed to get it. It shows that the vaccine is safe and more people will get it because of her.

Wait, I thought you wanted this to go through? Now you're asking for veto? Or are you just being your usual annoyingly contradictory self??

There was never an elph's chance at an Emerson Lake and Palmer appreciation society meeting that it was going to go through. It's a case of take it or leave it, and Trump says leave it so don't expect any cheque for any amount, so far as I can see. They'll all be heading home for Christmas now, shrugging and saying, well we tried, while Trump I'm certain will be agonising about it as he tweets from Mar-a-Lago.

I’m willing to bet the $600 and that means being willing to lose it. It’s $200 over triple or nothing. Pocket veto that bitch. That’s a great payout.

I still don't get it. You're betting against something that will never happen. Republicans are against the two grand, Democrats for it. The Republicans will not vote for it, and Trump has only 28 days left in office, so they'll just kick it down the road till Biden comes in. MAYBE he can get it passed but it's highly unlikely given how much opposition he will have on that side. So what payout are you expecting? Isn't this like saying "I could win big at the casino - if I wasn't broke"? Isn't 600 better than nothing, which is what you have now? Or am I misunderstanding this?

It’s a 23/10 payout on a 5000 page bill with all kinds of unknowns

**** yes I’ll risk $600 of house money on it

That provision wasn’t in the bill I don’t think.

Nobody is going to be successful suing their employer in Florida anyway.

As for me not supporting the dems trying the same thing it was different. It was $1200 and I would never vote on those capitulating weak ass little do nothing cowardly bitches. $600 can suck my ding dong. I think it’s possible they’ll reconvene and add the $1400. I’m not on the dems side or the GOP side. I’m on my side and I like this bet. And if it’s dead, well, I thought it was worth the gamble. I don’t want it to be a bluff. For $1400 more take it to the grave. Throw my $600 in the trash. $2000 or bust. Plus, I don’t want all these small businesses getting help anyway. I hate those smug little “local” bitches and I love seeing their **** ass pos stores closing and I want them to lose their houses, too. I know the rich ass bank CEOs will just reclaim and concentrate the wealth even more. Still worth it. I hate those little overpriced bourgeois “spend local” businesses. **** local.
