This kinda stuff is why the revolution isn't gonna play out well. They don't care about their mansions - if they want one, they'll just go buy another one.

Go talk to someone with wealth who is detailed oriented and knows what they're doing - you'll walk away overwhelmed. There is no way disorganized poor people can systematically stomp out the rich who actually protect themselves and their assets properly. There's a universe of difference in the way you and someone whose net worth is a certain amount looks at what they have and what to do with it. That's why some lawyers and security teams get paid ridiculously well - they eliminate any and all threats to the guys writing the checks.

I'm not saying some rich won't die if a revolution of some kind does happen. There are stupid rich people who park it in America and who aren't all that different from say, Donald Trump. But you won't get rid of the ones who have been properly advised.

Ain’t no one richer than a bullet to the head. And there’s no wealth on earth that can’t be reclaimed by the people. Any mother****ing thing can happen. Nuclear weapons can’t be contained. Chemical and biological weapons can’t be contained. Hatred cannot be contained. The more you got the more you got to lose.

Take suicide bombers and mass shooters for example. They’d kill the entire planet if they could. Sooner or later it’s going to be a matter of keeping people from getting to that point psychologically because technology won’t stay in a vacuum. The ability to unleash existential or near existential terror is another thing that can’t be contained.

If these rich people are so clever they’ll know when to surrender because they have to understand that you can’t live in a way that causes that many people to feel that misanthropic and survive. And capitalism, and even just markets in general, are a driving force in the spread of misery. And there’s no economic system based on growth that doesn’t inevitably lead to the same horrific outcome.

Covid has really shone a light on how nasty the Hasidic Jewish community really is. I mean they’re off the chain in a very bad way. They were actually BURNING masks and chanting Jewish Lives Matter. I’m gonna hold it there but there’s a lot more wrong with them.
