I totally agree that what we call "the middle class" is likely unsustainable (and artificially propped up by the exploitation of the proletariat in poorer countries anyway)
Common ground you ******* ****ers or just plain ****ers

Wait until we get it down to 300 M and build a global community based on cooperation and sustainable and real economic justice and equality for all people and eliminate growth, expansionism, and competition and mother ****ing hierarchy. You’re gonna be so goddamn glad you listened to me. Entire continents will be free to evolve unmolested by the virus of humanity. And we’ll be free to evolve into a caring cooperative post-human species.

Nothing you believe in will come to fruition in your lifetime.

There’s no reason to care beyond our lives it’s true but still I do and I don’t want not to so I’m just not going to overthink that one.

Cancer is almost as unbeatable as death itself.

Cell division never going astray is like a perpetual motion machine or a tire that never wears away. It’s not going to happen. Over a long enough timespan every form of cancer is a certainty.

Yes, I will admit it, I am college educated, which is why Malthusianism doesn't scare me.

As many of you know, I'm in an assisted living facility. COVID-19 is literally overrunning the place, first it was 1 patient, then it was 3, now it's 8. I literally have a patient's quarantined room right next to mine. I've been begging the facility to re-test me (my first test a couple weeks ago was negative) but no luck so far (I'll ask again on Monday). The only good news is I'm symptom-free as of now.
