It's bizarre to me that the richest country in the world has such a problem shutting down it's economy and taking care of it's citizens during a pandemic pretending that we can't afford it.

If our economy really crumbles that easily then it never was good in the first place.

More so, it's a scare tactic pieces of garbage like Trump use so the stock market doesn't look bad during the elections.

Telling people to die for the economy, what the **** has this economy done for me? Nothing. It's over stressed me and deprived me of much needed resources despite consistently doing hard labor that makes me feel like Sisyphus everyday. **** the economy.

i've gotten screamed at by customers more times than i can count. working isn't so bad, it's the customers that are making it a living hell to get up in the morning. and it's not getting any better. people are scared and freaking out. but...they don't need to take it out on me.

It wouldn't be as bad if people understood that it's not just stressful and hard for people that are able to stay home. People who are working have been dealing with these people since it started. We didn't get a break from it. I haven't been able to stay home. Believe me, I'm stoked that I still have a job. But general compassion has definitely taken a back seat.

I'm very happy that business hasn't slowed and the summer heat and humidity is creeping up. Feeling like I'm walking through pea soup while slammed for hours straight is making me very grateful that more people aren't dead. I swear.
