In all seriousness I am worried about not following the proper protocol of getting to the point of an approved vaccine. Testing trials and all that. There’s a reason for all those steps. Vaccines have been ****ed up before. This absolutely has to be gotten right obviously. Hopefully, Asia and the EU step into their rightful leadership roles. I’ll be line for the vaccine, if it ever comes to exist, after the Japanese and German government’s approval, not America’s.

^ On a side note: I used to teach at a couple of clinics here whose entire business was to run trials of non-FDA-approved medication in Mexico. They got the medicine for free, kept files on each patient and sent reports back to the USA, and in a cynical moment I realised that the big drug companies were apparently using this scale for testing the viability of new drugs: rats - monkeys - Mexicans - Americans.

The press is complaining that the FDOH isn’t releasing clear figures and locally we’re getting reports that we need to turn to the FDOH website for the data - basically the same runaround they’re giving us on unemployment

Florida is so ripe with prisons and nursing homes and so happy to open - we’re pretty much throwing expendable lives in the incinerator. I’ve never seen anything like it. National death toll is creeping up to 80,000 (known) and this thing didn’t even exist half a year ago.
