Have you heard the new Mamaleek album yet? One of the best and most inventive metal albums that I've heard since Vile Luxury.

Yes I have. Then recently watched a movie about the restaurant I assume inspired Eight Immortals Feast.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

A personal valet for President Trump, who among other things serves meals to the president, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

God please let President Donald J Trump get the virus and die from it. Thanks in advance - AMEN

It'll never happen it would be too perfect

Don't get me wrong, I hope the same thing for the comedy of it. And it feels at least a little just.

Spoiler for a piece of news nobody wants to hear:-

Spoiler for from CNN website:-:

When coronavirus was still restricted to China, not only governments across the world, but the majority of people too, were not responding fast enough because of a limit to their imaginations. That's how I feel anyway. How many of us could honestly say that we could imagine the total lockdown of Europe and the US, the millions unemployed and the emergency morgues?

Now, when people talk about "going back to normal", I suspect the same lack of imagination is at work. Covid-19 is out there, and will be for a long time. After lockdown, we will be going back to something, but it won't be normal....

I didn’t think it would get this bad but now I’m hoping it doesn’t get as bad as I’m thinking it’s going to get.

No, it’s on my list to get to. Good year for metal so far.

How bad do you think it's going to get?

I was never one of the people who thought it was the latest overreaction ala swine flu, mad cow etc and nothing was going to happen but was surprised by how quickly it spread and then how much it's changed our lives.

The Bank of England thinks it'll be the worst recession in over three hundred years but we will recover very quickly and strongly. I think that we may get a second wave worse than the current one over here mostly down to the public not wanting to obey the lockdown rules.

^ Yes, most comparisons about the economy are with the 1930s crash. I don't know what happened 300 years ago, but suddenly it sounds bad.

( The day the disaster really hit home for me was the day that I saw Italy's total lockdown on tv. That's when I realised that no country would escape disaster.)

^ Yes, the only thing worse than limited imagination is too much imagination. That's how it's been for me anyway!

Ain’t nobody know but there’s some bad mojo brewing. I think any comparisons to a mere recession is Pollyanna bs. I think for the US even comparing the economic fallout to the Great Depression is optimistic. Billionaires are still getting wildly richer while the bottom has collapsed. Right now getting on food stamps is impossible, unemployment is broken nationwide - moratoriums on utility freezes and evictions are being lifted and outside of the original hot spots cases are on the rise. There’s some optimism concerning immunity but I’m just not feeling it. There’s no sign that America is going to mandate sick days, livable wages, health care. OK all that is old news but nothing good is coming out of this. We’re just going to add millions more to the expendable pile and the scant resources for the poor are going to go from malnutrition level to full starvation level.

Plus the virus is weird af. It’s literally hitting **** from head to toe. I’m very pessimistic that the initial symptoms or lack thereof suggest victory. I think (and my therapist says I have a byproduct of depression called “catastrophic thinking” so PLEASE take it with a grain of salt) in a couple years long term disabilities from this are going to be very prevalent.

I don’t see how something that can cause so many problems from purple toes to infected sperm to blood disorders to the more common symptoms just punches you once.

I also think blame and war are on the horizon.

A full on depression is my most optimistic prognosis a bottle necking of human population is on the dark end.

Noted: I am OFFICIALLY mentally ill. K? Thanx
