Yes. But they lied saying they don’t help. If health care workers needed them first and they did they should’ve just been honest about it. The claim that it works for healthcare workers but not other people was stupid and implausible and was just another thing that has undermined our trust in the government.

They never said that N-95s don't protect the wearer.

You’re clever and very quick witted. You’re smarter than I am but I’m not wrong on this one.

So what happened, the supply increased and now we have enough to go around? Cause of course we still want healthcare workers to have them yet we also want everyone else to have them too now.
And even if there was a shortage, now they are tell telling people a mask that is made from a bandana or sock is still better than nothing... |

Surgeon General back then:
“Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!” Sorry I’m not impressed by N-95 loophole. The bolded was a flat out lie.

Rubbing milk on your skin provides some level of sun protection, but milk ain't gonna keep you from getting a sunburn.
