Cool thing about living in a Stephen King novel is that we can count on an abrupt, sloppy deus ex machina to get us out of this mess.

Is your point that they need to study virology? That it’s a necessary risk?

My point is that Stephen King sucks at writing endings.

I liked how Carrie and The Shining ended. I can’t remember most of the endings tbh

OH, I feel you so hard right now. Your outbursts are basically my inner monologues. I can't stop looking at people outside the window and murmuring to myself how f*cking weak and selfish people are. I'm not talking about a person walking down the street. I'm talking about the group joggers, the full families at the grocery store, the gas station attendant with his mask around his neck, the assh*les driving like lunatics because there are less police in the tri-state area right now because a lot are sick.

I've gotten to the point where unless I have personally vetted you, you're an idiot to me. Stay the f*ck away from me.

It's a phase though, or at least I'm hoping. It's just all these crazy news worthy examples of complete disregard to the current situation that's making me more susceptible to anger when I see somebody going for a jog.

I get you but remember that anger doesn't make you feel better. It certainly isn't making me feel better.

Isn't it presumptuous to assume everyone you see out is inherently a selfish idiot? When I see a mom and her four kids at the store I'm not thinking "stay inside you ****" I'm thinking wow this must be her only option. I wonder how many people have wished me dead when I was out on a supply run.

This is the daily argument I have with myself as well. I do it on the way to the shop.

"Look at all these idiots driving during this time........................wait a minute."

In conversations with a lot of people I've found that many of them are not simply ignorant, they are willfully ignorant and leap to whatever conclusion or evidence, now matter how weak, they need to in order for them to justify doing what they want to do cause people are gonna do what people are gonna do and trying to convince them that they're potentially causing harm just makes them self-conscious and defensive but no more likely to act intelligently.

I never claimed to be above humanity's stupidity but at least I'm not putting other people in danger.
